Hiya! I’m Casey

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor/Master Accelerated Resolution Certified Therapist, who is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care.

My Background

Before starting my private practice, I served as a school counselor for 10 years — nine in middle school and one in high school — and worked as an academic advisor for exploratory college students while earning my Master’s degree. These experiences deepened my understanding of how life transitions, academic pressures, and personal challenges can impact mental health at every stage.

Specializations & Interests

I specialize in supporting:

  • Perinatal clients: Anyone on the journey of conception, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, or early parenthood.

  • Adolescents & young adults navigating identity, school stress, or big transitions.

  • Therapists: Because even healers need healing spaces.

  • Inner child healing and transforming negative self-talk/self-beliefs through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

  • ART Intensives for trauma, anxiety, and stuck patterns.

  • Supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates (LPC-Associates).

My Approach

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore emotions, process experiences, and develop tools for resilience. My perinatal counseling work supports expecting and new parents through every stage of the journey — from preparing for the 4th and 5th trimesters to postpartum planning, infertility support, and emotional wellness during early parenthood.

In addition to my clinical work, I love mentoring the next generation of therapists. As a Supervisor for LPC Associates, I guide developing clinicians in ethical, client-centered, and trauma-informed practices.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART):

Now Offering Master-Level Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

I’m excited to share that I am now a Master ART Certified Therapist.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based eye movement therapy proven effective in treating trauma and other mental health concerns. This structured approach uses rapid eye movements — while fully awake — to help your brain process and resolve troubling memories, images, and sensations.

In ART, we say, “Keep the knowledge, lose the pain.” You will still remember the facts of what happened, but the intense, distressing emotions tied to those memories will no longer hold power over you.

Studies have shown that many clients experience significant relief within 1–5 sessions. As a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, I will guide you through a safe, compassionate process that focuses on specific scenes or events from your past, helping you move forward without the emotional weight.

Whether you’re struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, grief, or other emotional challenges, ART can be a powerful, fast-acting tool for healing.
